Nolan Construction lands Ormskirk student scheme for Bloom Properties

Nolan Construction has been on site at The Stile in Ormskirk, where it is delivering a five-storey student accommodation scheme for Bloom Properties.

The project comprises 17 studios and includes refurbishment of Bloom Properties’ adjacent existing building. It is being delivered with support from Frameclad and EMC Architects, who introduced Bloom Properties to managing director Lorna Jolliffe.

Co-founder Andy Nolan said the scheme reflects the company’s focus on quality-led residential work and a hands-on approach to delivery.
“We’ve been working on the development as part of Bloom Properties’ growing residential portfolio. The project reflects Nolan Construction’s continued role as a trusted partner for developers seeking a high standard of finish and a professional, hands-on approach. Working with Bloom Properties has been a great opportunity to contribute to a scheme that demands quality, consistency and care at every stage, very much in line with our ethos.”

He added that the company is focused on delivering homes and spaces that stand up to the highest standards. Eamon McCaul director at EMC Architects added: “It’s great to see the project coming to completion on site. The material palette and built form were carefully considered to reinforce the wider vision of The Stiles masterplan, and the quality of the finished development reflects the close collaboration between Bloom Properties, Nolan Construction and the wider design team.”

Bloom Properties director Lorna Jolliffe said the project forms part of its wider push to bring quality homes forward in locations with strong local demand.
“Nolan Construction has guided me through the process from beginning to end. They have been excellent throughout,” she said.
The Ormskirk scheme adds to Nolan Construction’s regional residential pipeline and underscores its growing role in the North West market.
