A new business community initiative for professionals in Liverpool’s property, construction and related industries has got off to a strong start, with the inaugural Woolton Golf Society golf day taking place at Woolton Golf Club on Thursday 16th July.
The event brought together like-minded individuals from across the property and construction sectors for a relaxed and informal round of golf, giving attendees the chance to build relationships away from their usual environment.
Woolton Golf Society has been founded by Nolan Groups managing directors Peter Melling and Andy Nolan, who set out to create a regular opportunity for people working in and around the built environment to connect. “The idea behind Woolton Golf Society was simple,” said Andy. “We wanted to bring together a property community for an enjoyable and relaxed round of golf, with the opportunity to get to know one another in an informal setting. Yesterday’s launch day did exactly that, and it was brilliant to see it come together.”
Following the success of the launch, five further golf days have already been scheduled for 2025:
Wednesday 30 July
Wednesday 13 August
Wednesday 27 August
Wednesday 10 September
Wednesday 24 September
Places are limited and are expected to sell out ahead of each date. Those interested in booking a place at a future Woolton Golf Society golf day can do so by emailing joel@ubiquitycollective.co.uk.
