A new evening South Liverpool ‘networking’ walk in Sefton Park, which began last week courtesy of the acclaimed MOVE Netwalking, has been deemed a big success, with a second event to follow this coming Wednesday 19th July.
Wednesday’s event is part of MOVE Netwalking’s continuing celebrations for its fourth birthday, having helped many companies with introductions to others in business and kept people in good shape too.
Founders Mark Waldron and Andrea Edwards established the company four years ago after acknowledging the value of walking, nature and ‘Netwalking’ as they call it.
Joel Jelen, who runs multi-sector pr & marketing outfit Wellbeing Ubiquity and breathing education business SniffSighYawn.com, is collaborating on their new weekly evening Netwalk. He said: “Lasting around 60 minutes, all those who sign up take part at a reasonable walking pace in between sauntering and power walking and networking…basically socialising! Afterwards, we all gather at local café Milo Lounge in Lark Lane to complete the evening with some quality conversation in a convivial atmosphere.”
Mark added: “We had a great turnout last week and we have had so many good stories already about the benefit of taking part!
Lesley Martin-Wright, chief executive of Knowsley Chamber of Commerce enthused: “It was just a perfect evening in an iconic setting. Thank you!”
Another of the Move Netwalkers, Jade Ainsworth, a model and influencer who also owns www.houseofglitzandglamour.co.uk, said: “I’ve had lots of interest after posting about the event from friends and followers alike and I’ll definitely be returning this week.”
